Estee Lauder founded her self-titled company in 1946, along with her husband Joseph. She first delved into the cosmetic and skincare industry with the help of her uncle, a chemist who also happened to be a skin care specialist. Her devotion to her products attracted a loyal fan base long before the brand became public.
